We aim to make your home appealing to as many Buyers as possible. This involves cleaning, decluttering, painting, making repairs, and hiring professionals for staging and photography.

Live on the market

Once we are ready it will hit the MLS and I will get to work marketing and advertising.

About Selling Real Estate in Peterborough & Kawartha's?

The first step is to click here to request a complimentary home evaluation. At that meeting, we will give you a sense of what we believe your home will sell for in the current market and answer any questions you may have. 
 
If you decide to proceed from there, you will be asked to sign a standard Listing Agreement – and we get to work preparing your home for sale! 
Standard staging – which comes at no extra cost for all our listings – includes: 
  • A full consultation 
  • Decor for living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathrooms and entry
  • Furniture if needed for living room, dining room and master bedroom

That depends on how much decluttering, prep and repair work is required before listing. We will be able to give you a sense of this at your consultation. Generally it’s a matter of weeks. 

 In a sellers’ market (where demand is greater than supply), your home could be on the market for a week (or less) and has the potential to fetch multiple offers. In a buyer’s – or balanced – market your home could be on the market for weeks or even months. 
 
We will discuss the possibilities for your property when we meet for your complimentary home evaluation. 
 
We have years and proven experience in both markets, with proven results and strategy.

This depends on a couple of factors including the state of the market and whether you can afford to carry two homes if the current home isn’t sold before the new one closes. Again we’ll discuss your options – and the pros and cons – when we meet.
